I think it's probably the best tool I've bought. I have a 26, 27 and a 33 and have changed the floor plates on all of them along with some plus twos for several other of my Glock pistols and I always hated the task. I just received your tool in the mail today and I couldn't wait to try it out. The floor plate practically fell off in my hand from my G33 mag. Unbelievable, no more will I struggle with them. It was worth the $22 with brush but since using it I would have paid $100 lol. Thanks for making such a great product. I only wish I would have heard of it sooner. Everyone I know will here of it you can bet on that.

I have 4 mags, got them all disassembled, cleaned and reassembled in less than 15 minutes! UNREAL! Up until today I haven't taken the mags down since I purchased them 4 years ago. WOW! Great product. As a mechanical designer, who helps design tools, I have to say great design. Tool have to be simple and have to work. The GTUL is both. Having owned a couple of Glocks, currently a model 23 and in the past a model 27, magazine disassembly and assembly as well as adding magazine extensions was a real pain. Well no more. When I received the GTUL I disassembled, cleaned and reassembled three magazines in about ten minutes. As promised with a noticeable difference in loading afterwards. Again, great design, great product and thanks for getting it to me so quickly. By the way I bought the three others as gifts; one for a friend, my Dad and brother who is LE.

We use Glocks for our duty weapons and I have scuffed up a few mags trying to disassemble them for cleaning. I was impressed by the simplicity of the device and its relatively inexpensive price so I ordered one to try it out. I was amazed at how efficiently this allows magazine disassembly. Before I would use pliers and this would take time (3-5 mins.) because I was trying not to damage the mag. I disassembled and re-assembled the mag three times in about a minute without any damage to the mag. I then used the mag brush. I liked the fact that it was nylon, thus preventing damage to the interior of the mag. It was big enough to adequately clean the entire mag and long enough that you don't hit your hand on the mag. Based upon this initial experience, I would l recommend this tool combo for any Glock owner. In fact, I will be recommending it to the armorers and other officers at my PD.

I spent about 20 mins installing a Pearce grip extension on my Glock 26 mag with a pair of channel locks and a lot of cussing. Your GTUL turned it into a literally 15 second job with little effort.

A Glocks are my favorite guns but Glock mags are my least favorite. I tried locking pliers, a vice with small pieces of plastic to push on the tabs, and generally wound up ripping the baseplate off with a small screwdriver. I was highly skeptical of GTUL but tried it on a G22 10 rounder and was amazed at how easily the plate came off. So I thought "Hah, let's see if it works on a baby Glock!" Danged if that one didn't pop right off as well. It took me hours to install extended baseplates on all of the mags for my G26 and 27 by hook or by crook. It would have taken me minutes to do it with a GTUL. Better late than never but I wish I'd found this thing years ago.

Just got my GTUL a few minutes ago and put it to use right away. I had purchased the GAP magazine floorplates about a week ago for my G27. There was NO WAY I could squeeze the short magazines enough to slip off the stock plates. I'm no weakling, but I couldn't budge them! Your tool made it a "snap", literally! I lost valuable time during a shooting stage when my magazine follower jammed because of sand and debris in the magazine tube. I had shot a match the previous week and dropped my magazines in the dirt. This past week in Florida we had some horrendous weather, and as a LE officer was pulling people out of cars and boats that were caught in the flooding. I was a Glock law enforcement armorer and firearms instructor for years. I still own several Glock's. One of the biggest training and miantenance problems has always been magazine dis-assembly and cleaning. That pinch required to free the magazine floor plate has always been a finger breaker. It requires more effort than my tired old and arthritic fingers can exert these days. Your tool is perfect for me. I also think it would be perfect for any Glock armorer. Every department fielding Glock pistols should have at least one of your tool kits. A clean magazine is a functioning magazine. Pistols don't work without a properly functioning magazine, and your tool should encourage cleaner magazines by making it easy to do. Good job!

I was at an outdoor IDPA shooting class this afternoon and it poured rain down heavily at times. When I got home, I thought it would be a very good idea to clean up my dirty and wet magazines. With the GTUL and brush, I cleaned all five mags in about 20 minutes. The bottom line is that your product really does the job and makes short work of cleaning Glock magazines. I was a little skeptical in thinking what kind of gimmick is the GTUL. I have multiple glock mags, and after purchasing Pearce Grip extensions decided to change the mags myself. Nothing complicated, but what a pain it was to remove the base plate- even with a punch tool. I can honestly say that it took me 10 seconds to remove the base plate with the GTUL with no effort at all! Now I have no excuse in not cleaning my mags. A GREAT product that I will highly recommend.

I always replace my Glock magazine floor plates with custom billet ones for identification purposes. The first two mags I tried to change out before buying your product resulted in (1) a bent allen wrench that I used to depress the pin (2) an elongated hole in the plastic floor plate. A total pain and poor result. Today I received my GTUL and changed out 2 floor plates. It worked exactly as advertised and took only a few seconds each to remove the old plates and put on the new ones. One of the best products yet for my Glock 23.

Worked exactly as advertised! I can't imagine a Glock owner not wanting one. I've literally spent hours trying to disassemble Glock mags in the past, using pliers, and a vise, with little success. I've gotten them apart, but usually only after a lot of frustration and dinged up mags. Your product allowed me to take the mag apart in seconds, with no damage to the mags. It works great! I fished around myself without one for a while and then gave up, felt sure I was going to break something. Never seemed to be able to get enough pressure on the sides either.
